Screen printed Patch - "Ritual Fire"

Fire is one of the four elements - or five, if you count in the fourth element of the spirit. It plays an important role for the development of humankind, history, science, regligions and mythology. Against the will of the greek god Zeus the god Prometheus shared his knowledge of fire with mankind. In the Old Testament a burning bush symbolizes the christian god. In norse mythology the fire giant and ruler of Muspelheim, the realm of fire, Surtr was mainly associated with fire.
While fire is a source of life it can also lead to destruction and death. The christian hell is described as a place made of fire. It solely depends on the way you look at it or how one uses its flames. The dualism of fire is omnipresent.
It can be your guiding light or burn you to ashes.

ca. 10 x 13 cm / approx. 3,9" x 5,1",
This patch is designed and screen printed by myself. Each patch is printed and cut individually by hand. I use waterproof ink and fabric from a local fabric store.

Important info:
* Washing: The patches are machine-washable at 40°C.
* To avoid fraying use stiches that go around the edge. The Patch should also have enough room to be folded on the edges before sewing on, this will help avoid fraying as well.
